Connecting a Maglock for PIN Release For a magnetic lock (maglock), you must use the Normally Closed (NC) circuit because maglocks require constant power to stay locked and only release when power is cut.  Wiring: Connect the negative terminal of your 12V power supply to the negative terminal of the maglock. Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to the COM port on the i16S. Connect the NC port of the i16S to the positive terminal of the maglock. Web Interface Configuration: Log in to the web interface (default: admin/admin). Go to EGS Setting \> Features to set a Local Password (PIN). Go to Security Settings (or EGS Access) and ensure the relay status for Output 1 is set to Normally Closed. Opening the Door: To release the lock, input your PIN followed by the # key on the device’s numeric keypad.  Configuring "Ring All" for Multiple Phones The i16S does not "ring" other phones directly; it places a call to an extension or group defined on your VoIP/PBX system (like 3CX, Asterisk, or Zoom Phone).  PBX Ring Group (Recommended): Create a Ring Group or Queue on your PBX. Add all the extensions you want to ring into this group. In the i16S web interface, go to Function Key \> DSS Key and set the "Type" to Memory Key and "Value" to the Ring Group Number. Multicast (No PBX): If you aren't using a PBX, you can use Multicast. Set the i16S to send a multicast stream to a specific IP/Port when the button is pressed.
